    The Hardware

    The structure of the cluster basically consists of Raspberry Pis interconnected with Ethernet switches and powered by a home-made printed circuit board. This backplane is 6-to-24V powered and features a DC/DC converter to provide the 5V micro USB.

  • The Software

    As this project aims to build a cluster, it should be able to perform distributed computations just as its bigger brothers. And since the cluster's first purpose is education it is important that it provides a way to monitor its state through an execution.
